Intelligent Mail: Where is it headed?

At Our March 2011 Chapter meeting, Lon Robinson, Technical Director of Tension Envelope Corporation, updated us on a variety of current and emerging postal issues. 

The Postal Service is going through unprecedented changes including a new Postmaster General,staff and office consolidation, decreasing mail volumes, postage increases and record budget shortfalls.  As a member of the Postmaster General's Mailers' Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC) representing the envelope industry, Lon's had a seat at the table for frank and memorable discussions about the direction of the Postal Service.   

MTAC is composed of the major mailing associations and organizations (including MSMA) who work with the Postal Service.  MTAC is an invaluable source of industry input on proposed and implemented plans and actions.  Check out Lon's presentation for his unique observations and insights on MTAC's latest discussions and issues.
